In my opinion if the setup will include ground level workers like Food Inspector at "Decision" making level (by promotion)then only the FDA can achieve the goal of preventing adulteration and misbranding. In the light of new FSS Act 2006 it is of paramount importance that Food Inspectors must be given liberty and responsibility to deal against High profile Industrialist who only see their profit margin not concerned about Public health and safety. I do think FSSAI should not include Industrialist in Top Scientif Body, because they can jeoparadise the whole system. Food Inspector, U.P. Govt.
ऍफ़ डी ए का नया सेटअप खाद्य अपमिश्रण को रोकने में सहायक नहीं सिद्ध होगा बल्कि कम करने में जरूर सहायक सिद्ध होगा | क्योंकि अब छोटे व्यापारी अपमिश्रण करने में घबराएंगे लेकिन लाखों करोंडो का व्यवसाय करने वाले व्यापारी धड़ल्ले से अपना काम करेंगे | इतिहास गवाह है कि छोटा अधिकारी या कर्मचारी छोटे पेट वाला होता है और बड़ा अधिकारी बड़े पेट वाला होता है, इसके अलावा हमेशा बड़े का ही पलड़ा भारी रहता है |
No the new setup will not help in preventing adulteration because prevention can be done at the begining i.e. at manufacturing level not at point of sale.
